On April 25, the Lide boutique located in the Kutuzovsky Prospekt hosted a gathering of elegant and well-dressed people whom the Vogue Russia magazine had invited to look at the world through rose-tinted glasses, no more and no less. Each guest was presented a pair of rose-tinted glasses and altogether they drank rose wine, exchanged impressions and association conjured by the rose color and feasted their eyes on the models displaying rose-colored clothes in the boutique's alcoves.

Of course, the choice of rose color as a central idea was no coincidence. Vogue Russia has launched a supplement, Dom Vogue. Translated from Russian, Dom means home and the supplement is devoted to home interior and accessories. The message that the presentation was intended to get across was that Dom Vogue is here now to help you transform your habitat into a world of rosy dream. The Lide boutique was made into a display of home interiors with lots of cushions, beautiful decorations and freshly cut roses.

Conspicuous among the guests were long-standing friends of Vogue: pop star Laima Vaikule, designers Igor Chapurin and Violetta Litvinova, television anchors Andrei Malakhov, Arina Sharapova and Svetlana Konegen and representatives of business circles. If there had been a contest to award presentations, this one would have definitely taken a prize in the ‘Most Elegant' nomination.
