Birthday for Sirena
One of Moscow's oldest seafood restaurants, Sirena, will be celebrating its 10th anniversary on June 26. Few restaurants can match its impressive track record: Sirena was the first eatery opened by restaurateur Arkady Novikov, and he surprised the public right away with high quality and prices and started a rage for restaurants with aquariums. For its birthday, Sirena will treat its customers to a special menu and other surprises.

Cooling off with tea
This summer, Amazonia has introduced a new tea menu featuring eight exclusive teas. They are obviously aware that tea can be very refreshing on a sweltering summer day. Of course, tea has historically been respected in hotter climes.

Chinese ginger tea
The China City Chinese restaurant is now featuring a unique "cold ginger tea." The new tea is the restaurant's own invention and cannot be found anywhere else in the city. It's prepared from green tea, ginger and honey.

Spy place
A new conceptual restaurant-club, Major Pronin, opened in mid-June. The idea belongs to three friends: cartoonist and restaurateur Andrei Bilzho, architect and artist Yury Avvakumov and sculptor Sergei Gorshkov. Major Pronin's theme is secrecy, plots and spies. According to its creators, the restaurant was meant as a place for spies to swap pieces of intelligence.

Sushi invasion continues
A sushi bar has opened in the Peking Duck Chinese restaurant. Its interior features the same style as the restaurant's other rooms, except that the dominant color is not blue, but dark red. The Japanese room's menu is made up exclusively of sushi and sashimi and features neither hot dishes nor soups.
